Cut and Burn CALORIES & FAT

Everyday we are all trying to figure out a way to cut calories, especially unhealthy ones, from our diet. I think we all need to take a deep breath and lighten up. These are silly ideas but I promise you, they will help and make you feel good. You just have to be bold. If you mess up get back on track as soon as possible and move on.



  • We all do it. We roll through Sonic because we skipped breakfast and we have to have the French fries or popcorn chicken. What you need at that moment is a plan to save yourself from 400 empty calories. And here it is. I know it's goofy but it works. As soon as you pull out of the parking lot, roll down your window, grab half those fries and throw them out the window. That's all it takes and you've saved yourself. Yes you wasted a little money and kind of polluted (I like to think ants clean up the mess). You do need to make sure you don't throw your food at the car next to you or at a pedestrian. This plan works with chips, M&Ms, anything, just chuck half of it out the window and enjoy what you have left, guilt free.
  • Ok, here's a great way to burn a few extra calories. When you are driving around the Mall or Wal-mart looking for a great parking spot, stop it. Park as far away from your destination as you can. That's right, if it's day time and safe, park a 1/4 of a mile away and start walking. It's a great opportunity to get a tiny little workout in the middle of the day. So stop looking for the perfect parking spot, and consider yourself blessed when you find the worst.
  • Here's my final tip as to how you can cut calories every day. Do you have a dog? Is he healthy? Well next time you fix yourself a ham and cheese sandwich at 3am, tear your sandwich in half and give it to your dog. He'll be so happy and you'll be healthier.

    Ok, be careful that you don't feed your dog stuff that's bad for him, like half a gallon of ice cream But chances are half a Hot Pocket or half a bowl of mac and cheese won't hurt him. He'll probably be really happy and you'll feel much better knowing you only ate half of the bad stuff.

    So there you have it, three unexpected ways to cut or burn calories. Pretty easy, right? Just don't be too hard on yourself. Think healthy thoughts and stay positive.
